LAF Report on Arabic-English Translation Online, Event Tonight
The Literature Across Frontiers report “Literary Translation from Arabic into English in the United Kingdom and Ireland, 1990 – 2010” is now available to download on the LAF website.
The initial presentation of the report, which covers numerous issues about translation, will be held at Cairo’s British Council HQ from 6 – 8 p.m. Translator and report-author Alice Guthrie and LAF director Alexandra Büchler lead the discussion of Arabic-English translation in the U.K. and Ireland (1990-2010).
