Zoomaal: Women on the Frontline

The crowdfunding site Zoomaal, in partnership with Hivos, just launched a  ‘Women on The Frontline’ challenge with $20,000 available in matched-funding “to support initiatives and projects by women that aim to encourage female leadership, positively impact the position of women in their communities, and inspire both women and men to encourage women to fully and equally contribute to society.”
To qualify for the challenge, projects — which could be writing festivals, women’s writing groups, a women-focused publishing project — must be founded or co-founded by women. There’s more information at http://www.zoomaal.com/challenge/takethelead.
