‘Arab World Books’ To Get a ‘Complete Makeover’

Arab World Books — a culture club specializing in “cross cultural dialogue and featuring articles, stories, literature, poetry, individual dossier for Arab writers, book discussion, creative writing workshop and readers club” — will be getting a makeover:

AWBArab World Books (http://www.arabworldbooks.com/), founded in March 1998, has long been a fantastic resource, but — a bit like ArabLit — it is stuck in a design that made sense the year of its launch.

The website currently features monthly discussions, recommendations, free e-books, a book club, writer biographies, and more.

According to a release about its redesign:

We have accumulated a wealth of cultural products and information from different Arab countries and generations of writers. The website is visited by millions of readers and researchers around the globe but technology evolves and after eighteen years, we badly need to preserve this information as well as to modernize our site for the future.

With the help of a grant from The Arab Culture Fund, we will be undergoing a complete makeover of our website during 2016 and with this in mind, we would like to get your feedback on what you wish arabworldbooks.com to do for you in the future.

You can send your redesign ideas to webmaster@arabworldbooks.com.
