Sunday Submissions: ‘Halal if You Hear Me’
The fantastic title Halal If You Hear Me is for a forthcoming anthology of writings by Muslims who are queer, women, genderqueer, nonbinary, or trans:
Editors Fatimah Asghar and Safia Elhillo are looking for poems and essays “on any theme.” Writers are invited to submit up to five poems or two essays (no longer than three pages) and a cover letter with contact info and a short bio.
The deadline is December 1, 2016.
