Mohammad Rabie’s Otared was shortlisted for the 2016 International Prize for Arabic Fiction, and appeared in Robin Moger’s translation that same year:

Thank you for curating these gems. In one of my courses, our next assignment is to explore forms of creative expression originating in the Arab world. I will play this in class to help inspire ideas.
