The Prince Claus Fund has announced that it’s accepting project proposals for its 2015 Cultural Defiance Fund from four countries: the Central African Republic, Eritrea, Libya, and Yemen.
Previously funded projects include a theatre and drama-therapy workshop in Iraq, a Damascus documentary lab, a Jamaican musical project, literature from Malawi, and dance from Namibia. This year, only applications from Yemen, Libya, the Central African Republic, and Eritrea will be eligible for support.
The Prince Claus Culture in Defiance Fund, sponsored by the Dutch Postcode Lottery, supports projects for amounts ranging from €15,000 to €25,000. The deadline for submissions is April 1.
For the full application procedures, see the “About the Applications” section of the Prince Claus Fund website.
