Starting today in Cairo, Literature Across Frontiers is co-organizing a week-long course for Arabic translators working with seven different source languages. This is the second training session, hosted at Al-Alsun Faculty in Ain Shams University, that brings together emerging translators with leading professionals:
The seven source languages are: Turkish, Italian, English, French, Spanish, German, and Czech.
Featured speakers include Turkish literary agent Nermin Mollaoglu, multi-award-winning Lebanese children’s author and translator Fatima Sharafeddine, German author Christoph Peters, novelist Mansoura Ez Eldin, publisher Balsam Saad, and many others.
