Panel Discussion: Arab Immigrants and the American Dream

To celebrate the Qatar-United States Year of Culture 2021, Qatar National Library will host the exhibition “Arab Immigrants in the US: Pursuing the American Dream”, which deals with the history of Arab immigrants to the US in several different areas. In this panel discussion, which is held on the sidelines of the Exhibition, our speakers will highlight several important contexts of Arab-American history: history and characteristics of immigration, Arab and American culture and integration between them, and Arab-American literature and its importance in reflecting the actual conditions of Arab society in the U.S.
