I hope publishers in the five test countries—Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria—are seeing this. The “Reading Here, There, and Everywhere” award is nowhere near as large as the 1 million dirham Etisalat Prize for Arabic Children’s Literature, but this prize includes a regional publicity campaign.
