Iraqi poet Amal al-Jubouri and her poet-translator Rebecca Gayle Howell will be reading at Smith College on October 2.
Al-Jubouri is the author of several collections, including the Best Translated Book Award-shortlisted Hagar Before the Occupation, Hagar After the Occupation.
