The great Palestinian author Ghassan Kanafani was born on this day in 1936. He was assassinated in 1972:

  2. I found the entire collection – republished on this website, I ordered the collection which will be shipped to me in 10 days, very excited. Its in Arabic, but I contacted the publisher and they will be also publishing the collection in English as well later on this year. Apparently they used parts of Ghassan Kanafani’s own artwork for the covers, beautifully done. www dot rimalbooks dot come
