Sunday Submissions: ‘Transference’ and Other Journals Seeking Translations

Richochet (deadline: December 16, 2016), The Cossack Review (rolling deadline), Berkeley Poetry Review (deadline: January 15, 2017), Marvels & Tales (deadline: January 31, 2017), and Transference are all looking for translations now:

transferenceTransference is published by the Department of World Languages and Literatures at Western Michigan University and is dedicated to poetry in translation. The journal feature translations as well as commentaries on the art and process of translating. Translations from the Fall 2015 issue, available online, include “In Jerusalem,” by Mahmoud Darwish, translated by Uri Horesh and “Something Fills the Soul, On the Threshold of Wishing, Time Utters It, and I Color My Name,” by Yousef el Qedra, translated by Yasmin Snounu and Edward A. Morin.

The 2016 issue is forthcoming, and submissions are now being accepted for the 2017 issue, with guidelines found here.
