This one is coming up soon, but if you happen to have a translation burning a hole in your drawer:

Entry Fee: $25
Prize: $5,000 and publication

This contest includes a prize of $5,000 and publication by Disquiet, an imprint of Dzanc Books. They’re looking for a novel, a memoir, a collection of short stories or essays, or a cross-genre work that “exhibits a marked commitment to mutual understanding and cultural exchange across the globe.”

From their submission guidelines:

Examples of qualifying works include but are not limited to works set partially or entirely outside of the United States or charting the narratives of foreign characters in America, works in translation (though a full manuscript must be available), as well as works that encompass a greater global concept, diversity of voice, and racial and cultural awareness.
