International Prize for Arabic Fiction Shortlist Announcement Set for This Morning

The International Prize for Arabic Fiction shortlist is set to be announced today in Casablanca as the city’s 21st annual international book fair opens:

The press conference is set to begin in Casablanca at 10 a.m. GMT, with an announcement of the six-novel shortlist around 10:50 a.m.

The year’s judges will also be revealed at the same time.

This year’s longlist was selected from a record 180 entries and includes authors from ten different countries.
