The idea of translating a ‘multilingual’ text begs the question, what is the definition of a ‘monolingual’ text? During this panel, the three excellent speakers discuss their experiences of language, multilingualism and translating multilingualism, with reference to examples from their own work. This event is part of the BCLT Summer School panels.
Admissions are open for the International Literary Translation and Creative Writing Summer School 2022.
The first prize is £350, second prize is £200, third prize is £100, and other entries may receive commendations.
